Quality in Every Detail

Application

Our hidden door bookcases and cabinets can be used in place of an interior door and when closed, they are flush with the wall completely concealing the doorway. Our doors install easily in new or existing construction. Many people include our hidden doors when they finish their basements.

Quality Construction

Each one of our products is built by talented carpenters using premium quality solid wood and solid core veneers. All our hidden door units are shipped unfinished, sanded and ready for you to finish in a paint or stain that matches the trim in your home. That way, your hidden door remains ‘hidden.’

Unique Internal Structural System

Our hidden door bookcases and cabinets can be used in place of an interior door and when closed, they are flush with the wall completely concealing the doorway. Our doors install easily in new or existing construction. Many people include our hidden doors when they finish their basements.

The out-swing door opens 90 degrees; the in-swing door opens approximately 120 degrees. Our 3’0” and 3’4” wide doors have an exterior depth of 12” with 10 ½ deep shelves. Our 2’8” wide door has an exterior depth of 11” and 9 ½ deep shelves. Illustrations are available upon request.

Locks and Security

Our standard closure is a ball-catch pressure latch similar to one used on double doors or heavy cabinet doors.

If you’d like added security, you’ll love our commercial grade magnetic locking system. This popular option comes with two car-key size remotes and an ‘exit button’ for the back side of the door. If you select this option, you will need an electrical outlet installed on the wall behind the door within 3 feet of the top of the latch side. Alternatively, you may have an electrician hard-wire the system for you. Battery back-ups are available as an addition to this system.

Concealed Security Panels

If you’re building a panic room or safe room and would like additional peace of mind, we can build your hidden door bookcase with an ArmorCore level 3 bullet-resistant panel.
